Products can be grouped into categories in Teamgate CRM. When the products are grouped into categories, you will be able to analyze the sales results by the categories.
Note: Products section are included in "Enterprise" package only.
1. How to create categories for products?
1.1. Navigate to Settings;
1.2. Click Products > Product categories;
1.3. Click NEW button and enter the title of the new category. All select the users who will be responsible for the products added to this category.
1.4. Save the changes.
2. How to assign a category to a product?
2.1. Categories are displayed in the main list of Products under the product's title. To assign or change the category follow these steps: select the products you want to group into the category > click the button More actions... > click Assign category > select the category in the pop-up window > Confirm the changes.
2.2. The category may be assigned when editing the product. Click on the title of the product > in the line Category select the category > save the changes.
3. Filtering.
3.1. When the products are grouped into categories you may easily filter to see which products are assigned to a particular category. Click the filter icon on the Products list > Click Category > select the value > click Apply.
