How to import customer list from QuickBooks to Teamgate?

QuickBooks integration with Teamgate allows importing a complete customer database with just a few clicks. Such functionality will save a lot of time because eliminates the need to create new customers in Teamgate manually. As well as, after importing database from QuickBooks all customers will be linked to Teamgate.

Before the import- make sure QuickBooks Online is already connected.

1. Which data will be imported into Teamgate?

According to the data entered to QuickBooks- after file import Teamgate will create:

Company and People- if there will be entered "Company title" and "First Middle Last" name of the customer in QuickBooks.

Only company- if there will be entered only "Company title" in QuickBooks.

Only People- if there will be entered only "First Middle Last" name of the customer in QuickBooks.

And the following data:

-phone number;

-address;

-email address;

-URL.

2. How to import customer list from QuickBooks to Teamgate?

2.1. Customer import may be performed from Company or People list and from the Settings:

  • Open Company or People list and click import;

OR

  • Navigate to Settings > Data migration > Import > select People or Company.

2.2. Click QuickBooks Online button

2.3. Assign a tag if you wish to filter the customer list imported from QuickBooks and click "Import".

2.4. Do not close the window while the import is in progress.

3. How to cancel the import?

To cancel the import navigate to Settings > Data migration > Import history > click "cancel".

The import may be canceled during the 24 hour period.
